In 2017 researchers from Institute of pathological physiology, University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Slowakia published the article: “CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE OF
THE EQUINE SKIN SURFACE UNDER BOOTS AFTER EXERCISE”
The results in this research are clear, and this is exactly why we don’t use any boots / polo wraps during training and transport. We do use white bandages at the competitions, but we make sure we use them as short as possible.
